OPENBEAM KOSSEL PRO DELTA 3D PRINTER KIT WILL NOW COME STANDARD WITH AN ALL METAL HOTEND!

All Shopstarter orders transitioned to MatterHackers! We are now the only place to order an OpenBeam Kossel Pro!

We are excited to be the U.S. distributor for the OpenBeam Kossel Pro! The Kossel Pro started as an oversubscribed Kickstarter project but now all Kickstarter orders have been fulfilled. As a result, anyone and everyone can now order a Kossel Pro! We have tons of customers that missed their chance to purchase a Kossel during the Kickstarter so we are excited and pleased to offer this printer kit for everyone.

This fabulously sturdy Kossel style printer kit is a new favorite with our print services team at MatterHackers. This printer is highly customizable and you can easily modify and make upgrades to this printer. Best of all, this printer comes as a kit which means after assembling this kit you will have an understanding and working knowledge of the printer that can't be matched any other way. This kit assembly will take roughly 8-10 hours which makes it the perfect weekend project.

OpenBeam believes in using the highest quality parts to make these kits which is why no 3D printed parts are used for the kit - instead all parts are mass produced using traditional manufacturing methods (injection molding and metal stamping) which yields sturdier and more accurate parts (which equals higher quality prints on your printer). All of the components of this kit are designed to be highly reusable and modular.

This machine was designed around the OpenBeam construction system so the entire frame of the printer goes together with a single Allen key (which is included with the kit). You can connect the motors and board without any soldering or wire crimping.

This kit is a culmination of the efforts of many people in the Maker community!

The Kossel Pro was hugely successful in its Kickstarter campaign. To see the video from the Kickstarter (and to learn more about the Kossel) check it out below:

I have not heard of the Brainwave controller other than on an OpenBeam Pro. Isn't it just a specalized and/or simplified 8 bits at 16MHz controller? Wouldn't a 32 bit controller be a better solution for delta printer?
