The latest version of MatterControl (0.7.5) is out and available for download.  Along with the usual bevy of bug fixes and minor improvements several significant new features have been added.  The one we are most excited about is what we call "Plug and Print".

Plug and Print - Automatic setup and configuration

For a select number of printers MatterControl now includes 'Plug and Print' capability - plug in your printer, choose the make/model and let MatterControl take care of the rest.  Including:

- Driver installation

- Slice settings pre-configuration

- Automatic printer detection

- Connection troubleshooting

- Calibration assistance

All of this means spending less time on setup and more time printing.  Currently supported printers include models from Airwolf 3D, Type A Machines and SeeMeCNC - with more to come soon.

Export to SD Card

If your 3D printer uses an SD Card for printing, it is now easy to export your entire queue of parts.  Parts are automatically prepared for printing and transferred all at once.

Create PDF Parts Sheet

Printing out a complicated project and want to make sure you've got all the parts?  MatterControl will export a printable parts sheet showing the profile of each part.  Place the part in its proper location once completed and voila - you have a three-dimensional checklist.
