Carbide 3D has been hard at work upgrading the spindle mount and Z-Axis assembly for the Shapeoko line to bring this upgraded model to the market. While the Shapeoko has always been a fantastic choice in benchtop CNC machining, the recent changes are a shining example of Carbide 3D's continued desire to bring the best products to market, and we here at MatterHackers are proud to partner with them in that effort. These new machines are available standalone with your choice of spindle, or available in one of our bundle offerings to get you started right away.

Shapeoko Bundle Options

The Carbide 3D Shapeoko Benchtop CNC Machine is a beast all on its own but combined with the freedom to choose which spindle you would like included with your kit, MatterHackers has also created some bundles to help you get the most out of your new CNC Router. The Starter Bundle includes the Carbide 3D Shapeoko Endmill Starter Set to get you going with a selection of different endmills for a variety of projects, and also includes one piece each of our Project Wood so you can start machining as soon as your Shapeoko is assembled! The professional bundle takes the ease of use on your Shapeoko to the next level by including the Carbide 3D Shapeoko Touch Probe for easy and accurate stock material calibration in all three axis, no matter where on your build area it's located - which could be anywhere thanks to the T-Track and Clamp Kit which adds clamping and stock material securing options all over the work area.

Of course every Shapeoko also includes the Sweepy Dust Boot from Carbide 3D. If you purchase a Shapeoko without a router included, make sure to select the Sweepy that will fit the router you already have or plan to use in the future. The Carbide Compact Router and the Makita require the 65mm Sweepy, while the DeWalt requires the 69mm Sweepy.

This kit does not include a spindle, allowing you to choose exactly what router you want to use. Whatever type of cut you want in whatever material from wood, plastic, and even aluminum is made possible with this impressive machine.

Your needs change, so can Shapeoko

The Shapeoko is intended to be hackable, so set it up to be exactly what you need. If you need more space for taller stock, remove the table section to add more clearance. Drill holes and accessorize the machine to best suit your needs, whatever they might be. The standard kit will get you going, you only need to supply the material to cut. Every component of the machine and every tool needed to assemble it comes included.

The Shapeoko is available in three sizes, from Standard to XL and XXL. The only difference between the machines is the work area, here are the details:

• Shapeoko Standard: cutting area of 16x16x3"
• Shapeoko XL: cutting area of 16x33x3"
• Shapeoko XXL: cutting area of 33x33x3"

No matter what you want to make and how much space you have for the machine, there is a Shapeoko for your workshop.
