MatterHackers is opening its doors for an exclusive hands-on open house centered on our brand new WAZER Pro, the most capable compact waterjet cutter WAZER has ever built. It just arrived in our showroom and we want you to come see it in action.

If you've ever wanted to see what it looks like when a machine cuts through 1" aluminum or 3/8" steel using nothing but water and garnet abrasive, Monday, July 27th is your day.

The Star of the Show: The WAZER Pro

Waterjet cutting has always been one of those technologies that belonged to facilities with six-figure budgets and dedicated floor space. WAZER changed that. And with the WAZER Pro, they've pushed the concept even further.

The WAZER Pro is the real deal. It delivers 2.1 kW of hydraulic power in a 2' x 3' footprint, runs on standard tap water and single-phase electrical power, and cuts 2 to 4 times faster than the WAZER Desktop while handling materials twice as thick. We're talking 1" aluminum, 3/8" steel, stone, glass, carbon fiber, ceramic tile, and virtually anything else you'd want to cut. All with 0.003" digital precision and zero heat-induced warping.

What makes the Pro a genuine leap forward is the automatic abrasive collection system and redesigned high-pressure components. You get up to 90 minutes of continuous uninterrupted cutting, minimal downtime between jobs, and a workspace that stays cleaner thanks to the integrated sprayer that washes down finished parts right inside the machine. The backflow sensor automatically pauses operations if anything goes sideways, and the absolute-zero locating jig means you can cut features on existing parts with repeatable precision.

This is a machine that fits in your shop but performs like it belongs on a production floor.

Starting at $18,999 in a market where comparable industrial waterjets routinely exceed $100,000, the Pro represents one of the most compelling value propositions in fabrication today.

See Both Machines Side by Side

We also have the WAZER Desktop on hand for comparison. Whether you're prototyping at lower volumes, working within a tighter budget, or just getting started with waterjet technology, the Desktop is still an extraordinary machine. Having both in our showroom means you can evaluate them directly against each other and get honest guidance on which makes sense for your workflow.

Spoiler: the Pro is brand new and it just landed in our showroom. You're going to want to see it cut something.

Beyond the machines, the afternoon includes free tacos, time to explore our full showroom, and the chance to connect with engineers, designers, and makers from across Southern California.

What You'll Experience

A MatterHackers expert will be on hand to walk through the Pro in depth, covering cutting speeds, material compatibility, abrasive consumption, post-processing, and total cost of ownership. Bring your real application questions. This is the kind of conversation that's hard to have over a product page, and that's exactly the point of the afternoon.

You'll also get time with MatterHackers' own fabrication experts, whether you're integrating waterjet into an existing production workflow, evaluating it as an in-house alternative to outsourcing, or just genuinely curious about what the technology can do.

Who Should Come

This event is for anyone seriously evaluating waterjet technology. That includes professional manufacturers looking to bring cutting in-house, prototypers tired of waiting on outside vendors, educators ready to introduce students to real CNC fabrication, and makers who've always wondered what it would look like to cut intricate aluminum parts from their own shop.

If you've been curious about the WAZER Pro but haven't had a chance to see it run in person, this is the right room to be in.
