Raise3D is known for producing powerhouse 3D printers capable of printing fantastic 3D printed parts at any size, and the Raise3D E2 is no exception. With its fully enclosed design, dual independent printheads, and features throughout to improve the user experience, the Raise3D E2 is built to handle anything a classroom or production line can throw at it.

Let's break it down-

Fully Enclosed Build Chamber

Like every Raise3D printer before it, the Raise3D E2 is fully enclosed, providing consistent heat around your 3D printed parts and protecting it from any unwanted drafts and airflow. A HEPA filter with activated charcoal continuously cleans the air within the Raise3D E2 of any potentially harmful particulate or fumes. Tougher materials like ABS and polycarbonate can easily be printed thanks to the enclosed frame, but for materials more sensitive to overheating like PLA, you can pop open the top to vent excess heat. The front door uses magnets to keep it securely closed, and you have the option to enable an automatic pause in the event it’s opened while printing, keeping curious hands and your 3D prints safe.

Temperatures are consistent and fumes are contained thanks to the fully enclosed build chamber.

Independent Dual EXtrusion

Dual extrusion has been a mainstay for Raise3D, and the E2 is no exception; the E2 features Independent Dual EXtrusion printheads that enable you to 3D print in multiple colors, multiple materials, or multiple objects in the same print job. For normal dual extrusion printing with multiple colors or materials (including dissolvable support) in the same part, the printhead not in use will move to the side and park until it is ready to be used, preventing any oozing or smearing of materials in the finished 3D print. The greatest advantage to IDEX is using both printheads at the same time in duplication mode or mirror mode to create multiple parts side by side, halving production time with one machine.

Batch printing utilizing both IDEX toolheads on the same print job will halve print times for large batches.

Features Galore

From top to bottom the Raise3D E2 has been designed for a seamless user experience. With the introduction of an auto-bed-leveling sensor, every print will be the optimal distance from the bed ensuring better print quality and improved bed adhesion. Thanks to the 7” full-color touchscreen and video-assisted calibration, you can be easily guided through the offset calibration process for the IDEX toolheads, material changes, and to resume a print job saved by the power-loss recovery system. To keep the production line moving smoothly, the Raise3D E2 features a flexible spring steel build plate with Buildtak printing surface, which means as soon as a print finishes you can remove the bed from the printer, flex it, and start the next print. And thanks to the RaiseCloud, you can keep an eye on your progressing 3D print, from anywhere at any time.
