This material contains a laser-sensitive additive that is optimized to work with Nd:YAG (solid-state) and fiber lasers in the 980-1064nm wavelength. Laser Marking PLA displays the same ease of use and properties that is expected when printing with standard PLA material.

The laser-sensitive additive in ColorFabb Laser Marking PLA allows users to engrave product information right onto printed parts. This material can be used in a wide range of applications such as the creation of mementos and souvenir, engraving product bar codes and QR code, listing product information or batch data, or to simply give finished parts a more professional and distinguished look.
Laser markings on this material are permanent, waterproof, wear and heat resistant, lightfast, and resistant to chemicals - additionally, no pre or post-treatment is required.

HOW TO SUCCEED WHEN PRINTING WITH LASERMARKING PLA:

* Laser Marking PLA contains a laser-sensitive additive optimized to work within a 980-1064 nm wavelength. The material has been tested successfully with a Nd:YAG- and fiberlasers. Laser marking PLA will not work with CO2 lasers.
