Dual drive gears are the ideal drive type for a 3D printer extruder, but the exact amount of filament tension is a variable determined by many different inputs and no setup is exactly the same. For that reason, the Hemera extruder features adjustable filament tension to set up your extruder perfectly for your hotend and 3D printer filament.
