The eufyMake E1 is the first personal 3D-texture UV printer, and it was named one of TIME's Best Inventions of 2025. It prints full-color artwork directly onto objects you already have, then builds up layers of UV-cured ink to create raised texture up to 5 mm tall. Is the eufyMake E1 a 3D printer?
No. The E1 is a UV printer. It prints color and raised texture up to 5 mm onto existing objects, but it does not build new objects the way a filament or resin 3D printer does.
Is it suitable for a small office or home studio?
The E1 is enclosed, blocks more than 90% of UV light with the cover closed, and uses built-in air circulation with a replaceable filter to reduce odors and VOCs. Its UV ink is GREENGUARD Gold certified. UV ink still has some odor, so place the printer in a room with good airflow and keep the cover closed while printing.
What is the difference between Machine Only and the Basic Bundle?
The Basic Bundle adds the Ink and Cleaning Cartridge Kit. With Machine Only, you will need to purchase ink and a cleaning cartridge before your first print.
Can it print on tumblers and mugs?
Yes, with the Rotary Printing Attachment. It fits drinkware 1.8" to 3.9" in diameter and 3.1" to 9.6" tall, tilts up to 13 degrees for tapered cups, and has a "With Handle" mode for mugs.
Can it print on fabric?
The E1 can print on canvas, leather, and some fabrics, and the White Flexible ink is made for soft materials. It is not a garment (DTG or DTF) printer, so it is not intended for full T-shirt production.
Is it safe to print on drinkware?
Yes, on the outside of cups and tumblers. Keep designs away from the rim and any surface that touches food or lips.
Do some materials need prep?
Clean every surface before printing. Smooth, non-porous materials like glass and polished metal may need an adhesion promoter for best durability, so test new materials before a production run.
