THE ENHANCED MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF PEKK AND CARBON-FIBER REINFORCEMENT
Kimya PEKK Carbon 3D Printing Filament by Armor Group is a carbon-fiber-reinforced PEKK 3D printing filament, which boasts many enhanced mechanical properties over regular PEKK 3D printing filament. Kimya PEKK Carbon has a lower rate of crystallization than PEEK 3D printing filaments, meaning it can be 3D printed at lower temperatures than PEEK while offering improved interlayer adhesion and reduced warping. End-use parts 3D printed with Kimya PEKK Carbon 3D Printing Filament can withstand application temperatures up to 260°C, and feature enhanced abrasion and chemical resistance. Finished 3D printed parts will also be more lightweight than if they were 3D printed with regular PEKK, and are rated UL94 V0 flame retardant.
