Printing Tips

  • Storage: Store in the provided moisture-resistant aluminum bags when not in use. For prolonged storage, using a dry box with desiccant to maintain humidity below 15% is ideal.
  • Drying: If moisture is present, dry at 65°C for 4-6 hours. Find filament dryers here.
  • Printing: Ensure a clean, level print bed at 100 - 110°C for ideal conditions. Enclosures are crucial to maintaining consistent print temperatures at 50°C to improve adhesion and reduce print failures. Consider these additional settings for the best printing conditions:
    • Temperature: 250 - 270°C
    • Print Speed: 30 - 120 mm/s
    • Nozzle: Hardened steel or diamond-tipped for the abrsaive nature of glass fiber. 0.4 mm nozzle yields best results for consistency and quality, but nozzles of 0.2 mm and larger can be used
    • Retraction Settings: Speeds of 1800 - 3600 mm/min and distances within 1 - 5 mm will help extrusion
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Stringing: Consider adjusting retraction settings, print speeds, or ensuring the moisture level is within acceptable limits
    • Poor Bed Adhesion: Use a gluestick or slightly increase the bed temperature, ensuring it is at least 100°C. An enclosure may also grealy increase printing results
