The xTool O1 Omni is the world's first 4-in-1 omni printer, combining UV, UV DTF, DTG (Direct-to-Garment), and DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing in a single desktop machine. It is offered in three editions, and each one is built around a different printhead and ink configuration. That configuration determines which materials you can print on, which effects you can produce, and whether apparel is part of your workflow. Important: Your edition is a one-time decision. The UV editions cannot be upgraded to the UV + DT Fabric Edition later, so if apparel is on your roadmap, choose the UV + DT Fabric Edition at purchase.

The Four Print Modes, Explained
UV Direct Printing
UV-curable ink is jetted directly onto the surface of your item and cured instantly by UV light. The result is a sharp, durable, full-color print that is ready to handle as soon as it comes off the bed. With 3-in-1 Varnish, you can add matte, gloss, or foil effects, and build raised, tactile texture up to 7 mm (0.28") tall.
- Best for: Acrylic, wood, metal, glass, ceramic, phone cases, keychains, awards, signage, and branded merchandise

UV DTF (UV Direct-to-Film)
The O1 Omni prints UV ink onto transfer film, which is then laminated to create a water-resistant, peel-and-stick decal. UV DTF lets you decorate objects that are difficult or impossible to print on directly, such as tumblers, bottles, and other curved, textured, or irregular surfaces.
- Best for: Transfer stickers, drinkware, curved and cylindrical items, and textured surfaces

DTG (Direct-to-Garment)
Pigment-based fabric ink is printed directly onto the garment and bonded with heat curing. DTG produces a soft, breathable print that feels like part of the fabric rather than a layer on top of it. Dark garments require pretreatment before printing so the white underbase lays down cleanly and the colors stay vibrant.
- Best for: Cotton and natural-fiber T-shirts, hoodies, and tote bags
- Print area: 11.8" x 15.4" (300 x 390 mm) DTG platen
- Durability: Typically around 30 to 50 washes with proper pretreatment, curing, and care
- Available on: UV + DT Fabric Edition only
DTF (Direct-to-Film)
Artwork is printed onto DTF film with fabric ink, coated with adhesive powder, cured, and then heat-pressed onto the garment. DTF works on a much wider range of fabrics than DTG, including synthetics and blends, and white ink is built into every transfer, so no pretreatment is needed for dark fabrics.
- Best for: Polyester, cotton/poly blends, nylon, performance wear, hats, bags, and mixed-fabric products
- Durability: High-quality DTF transfers can reach 50+ washes
- Requires: DTF film, adhesive powder, and a heat press for curing and transfer (such as the xTool WonderPress), which are not included with the printer

Single UV Edition: Entry-Level UV Personalization for Rigid Goods
The Single UV Edition is the most accessible way to add full-color UV printing to your shop. It uses one Epson F1080 printhead loaded with a six-channel CMYKWV ink set (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black, White, and 3-in-1 Varnish). That covers full-color printing, opaque white underbases for dark and clear materials, and matte, gloss, foil, and raised-texture finishes.

Note that the second head expands the ink set rather than doubling print speed.

The double white channel delivers a strong, opaque underbase for printing on dark garments. The fabric inks are OEKO-TEX certified, and the DT system includes an idle humidification mode that protects the fabric printhead between production runs.
