The License To Make grants you the right to create physical copies of any digital design purchased in the MatterHackers digital store. One physical copy of the digital design may be used commercially. The digital design itself cannot be redistributed or resold in either original or modified form.

What this means

For each digital design, the License To Make allows you to:

• Create an unlimited number of physical copies of a design for personal use.
• Create a single physical copy of a design for commercial use.

The License To Make does not allow a digital design to be:

• Shared, transferred, resold, sublicensed or redistributed.
• 3D printed more than once for use commercially.

Some Examples

You can:

• 3D print a purchased design as many times as you would like.
• Sell a single physical copy of a purchased design, either by itself or as part of a project.
• Use a single physical copy of a purchased design to promote your business.
• Buy multiple licenses to a design and sell one physical copy per purchased license.

You cannot:

• Sell more than one physical copy, per license, of a purchased design.
• Give away more than one physical copy of a purchase design as part of a promotion.
• Sell, share or redistribute a purchased design (even for free).
• Use a purchased design as part of another design and distribute that design (even for free).
• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble a purchased design and distribute the modified design (even for free).

Portions of some designs may be covered by a public license such as the Creative Commons. In these cases, any portions of the product not covered by a Creative Commons license will be covered by this license.
