MH Build ABS is one of the most commonly used 3D printing materials. 3D printed parts made with ABS filament tend to be more flexible and less 'brittle' than those made with PLA filament. ABS printed parts can go through an acetone vapor bath to provide a glossy, smooth look that eliminates layer lines. A heated bed must be used when printing with ABS filament, as it shrinks or contracts when it cools, which can cause warping. Using a fully enclosed 3D printer, or building an enclosure for your printer will provide cleaner ABS prints. All MH Build filament is sealed with desiccant for storage and freshness.
