Ultrasint PA6 LM was designed for customers who want to create applications from PA6 on a standard SLS machine.

While most PA6 powders require a high temperature environment, Ultrasint PA6 LM can be processed on most common SLS machines. We developed this polyamide-6 powder for processing temperatures of about 175-185° C. To enhance its mechanical properties, Ultrasint PA6 LM black contains an in-particle mechanical reinforcement. It makes this powder suitable for industrial applications that require parts to withstand substantial mechanical stress in environments where high temperatures prevail. PA6 is one of the most used materials in injection molding for performance applications. Using PA6 powders in SLS offers many advantages, namely enhanced mechanical properties, and greater cost effectiveness when producing small quantities or complex parts.
