Operation of the Monoprice Maker Ultimate 3D Printer is done through the LCD display screen on the front. Simply navigate through the simple menus with the click-wheel, and push to select. Begin or stop a 3D printing job, adjust settings on the fly, or use the built-in calibration wizards to perform maintenance. The Maker Ultimate features an SD card slot on the front as well, so simply load your sliced 3D files onto the provided SD Card and slot it into the front of the 3D printer. A USB cord is provided if you prefer to operate your 3D printer from your computer, though. Another quality-of-life feature you can enjoy with the Maker Ultimate is that the build area is illuminated by LED’s so that you can clearly see the progress of your 3D print jobs and have visibility while performing maintenance.
