The Revopoint INSPIRE 2 combines infrared structured light and an infrared multi-line laser in a single handheld scanner, so you are not stuck picking one technology and living with what it cannot do. Structured light captures faces, bodies, and feature-rich objects marker-free and in full color. Color Capture and Marker-Free Scanning
A 1280 x 800 RGB camera records true-to-life color alongside the geometry, so scans arrive ready for 3D printing in color, game assets, or archival records rather than as bare grey meshes. On objects with enough surface detail, feature tracking handles alignment on its own, which means no markers to place and no markers to remove from the final model.

Laser Mode for Shiny and Dark Parts
Black plastic, machined metal, and glossy finishes are where most affordable scanners give up and reach for developer spray. The INSPIRE 2's 11-line infrared laser reads those surfaces directly, so a difficult part goes straight from the bench to the scan without a coating that has to be cleaned off afterward.

Do I need markers?
Laser mode tracks using markers, and 200 reflective markers are included. Structured light mode also tracks surface features, so objects with enough detail scan marker-free.
Can it scan people?

Yes. Revo Scan 6 runs on Android 11 or later and iOS 14 or later. Android phones need a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, Dimensity 9000, or Kirin 9000S class processor with 12 GB of RAM. On iOS, iPhone X or newer with 4 GB of RAM works, and iPads from the 10th generation. The Premium Edition's mobile kit holds the phone and powers the scanner.
What computer do I need?
For Windows, Revopoint lists a minimum of an Intel i7 13th Gen or AMD Ryzen 7 5800 with 16 GB of RAM and an NVIDIA RTX 3060 (8 GB). For macOS, an M1 Pro, Max, or Ultra with 16 GB. More RAM and a stronger GPU speed up processing noticeably.
