Carbide 3D brings CNC milling to your desk with the Nomad 883 Pro Desktop CNC Machine. Ready to run out of the box, noise and debris are both contained in the Nomad's full enclosure. Included MeshCAM software allows STL files to be loaded directly into the 883 Pro.
The Nomad 883 is truly a desktop machine, with only a 20" x 20" footprint, it doesn't need it's own bench to become part of your workshop. The Nomad 883 Pro's frame is machined aluminum, with critical parts bead blasted and anodized for both protection and aesthetics.

Running on their custom drive electronics and firmware allows their spindle to operate at up to 10,000 RPM. This custom built spindle assembly is the most durable and quiet available on any desktop milling machine.
Desktop CNC Machines usually make measuring tool length a difficult process, but the Nomad has been designed with an accurate and automatic measuring program built in. The measurement is completely integrated into the machine and runs during every cut to ensure calibration.
Included with the Nomad 883 Pro is Carbide Create, a 2D CAD/CAM software platform developed by the team at Carbide. Easy to approach for beginners but also powerful enough to allow for advanced projects, Carbide Create is available for both Windows and Mac machines.
The only thing you need is a Mac or Windows computer.
