Carbide 3D Shapeoko 4 Standard CNC

The Shapeoko from Carbide 3D is a build-it-yourself CNC Router that allows you to use subtractive manufacturing to create any 3D object you can imagine from wood, plastic, and aluminum. The Shapeoko 4's design has been improved from the 3 and Pro by incorporating a robust 65mm router mount, rigid v-wheels, thicker, more reliable belts, inductive homing switches that prevent wear and tear, and a leadscrew-driven Z-axis.

The Shapeoko 4 also has a completely redesigned waste board with t-slot rows that allow incredibly dynamic work-holding. This Integrated t-slot Hybrid Table lets you affix your carving media in any way you need, and start your project right out of the box.

The Shapeoko 4 also includes the Sweepy 65mm V2 dust boot system, to keep your workspace clean, and your project visible during carving.

Welcome to the world of CNC Routing

Carbide 3D, the creators of the Nomad 3 CNC Mill bring you the Shapeoko - a CNC Router kit that allows you to create larger scale projects with a wide array of router bits. This kit does not include a spindle, allowing you to choose exactly what router you want to use. Whatever type of cut you want in whatever material from wood, plastic, and even aluminum is made possible with this impressive machine.

Your needs change, so can Shapeoko

The Shapeoko is intended to be hackable, so set it up to be exactly what you need. If you need more space for taller stock, remove the table section to add more clearance. Drill holes and accessorize the machine to best suit your needs, whatever they might be. The standard kit will get you going, you only need to supply the material to cut. Every component of the machine and every tool needed to assemble it comes included.

Manufactured with strong aluminum extrusions and steel plates, the Shapeoko is built to last

Select the Machine that's Sized to Fit Your Needs

The Shapeoko 4 is available in three sizes, from Standard to XL and XXL. The only difference between the machines is the work area, as seen on the below chart:

Size Cutting Area Footprint
Shapeoko Standard 17.5" x 17.5" x 4" 33" x 24" x 19"
Shapeoko XL 33" x 17.5" x 4" 50" x 24" x 19"
Shapeoko XXL 33" x 33" x 4" 50" x 41" x 19"

You can also select whether you need a Carbide Compact Router included, or whether you have your own router, such as the Mikita RT0701C, which also has the required 65mm diameter. (Note that the DeWalt 611 as a 69mm router will not fit the Shapeoko 4.)

No matter what you want to make and how much space you have for the machine, there is a Shapeoko for your workshop.

Whatever size workbench you have, there is a Shapeoko that fits on it!
