Siraya Tech Fibreheart PPA

Industrial Strength for Demanding Prints

Siraya Tech Fibreheart PPA is an advanced PPA (Polyphthalamide) Nylon filament developed for high-demand engineering and industrial 3D printing. It combines excellent mechanical strength, thermal stability, and chemical resistance with low moisture sensitivity, making it far more reliable than conventional nylon materials. Its naturally low-friction, wear-resistant characteristics make it especially well suited for continuously moving or load-bearing components. From functional prototypes to production-grade parts, Fibreheart PPA delivers consistent performance where strength and precision matter most.

Key Features of the Siraya Tech Fibreheart PPA Filament:

  • Engineering-Grade PPA Material: High tensile and flexural strength designed to outperform standard nylon filaments
  • Optimized Performance: Self-lubricating, abrasion-resistant properties ideal for gears, bearings, and mechanical parts
  • Low Moisture Sensitivity: Reduced water absorption improves print stability and dimensional accuracy
  • Thermal & Chemical Durability: Maintains performance under high temperatures and exposure to harsh chemicals
  • Built for Industrial Use: Suitable for demanding applications including automotive, aerospace, tooling, and end-use components

Versatile Industrial Applications

This PPA filament delivers high strength, wear resistance, thermal stability, and dimensional accuracy, making it ideal for functional prototypes, end-use parts, and high-stress engineering components.

  • Reliable performance for gears, bearings, and moving mechanical parts

Printing Tips

  • Storage: Store in dry box with desiccant to maintain humidity below 15%.
  • Drying: Dry at 80 - 100°C for 4-6 hours if moisture is present (indicated by oozing, bubbles. or rough surface finish). Find filament dryers here.
  • Printing: Use an enclosure for consistent temperatures to reduce potential issues of warping. Implement proper cooling and consider soluable support materials for complex geometries. Consider annealing to enhance mechanical properties and heat resistance.
    • Temperature: 280 - 300°C
    • Print Speed: 30 - 120 mm/s
    • Nozzle: High quality metal nozzles, hardened steel is not necessary; 0.4 - 1.0 mm nozzle yields best results
    • Retraction Settings: Speeds of 1800 - 3600 mm/min and distances within 1 - 3 mm will help extrusion
  • Annealing: To improve heat deflection temperature, enhanced mechanical properties, and dimensional stability, anneal according to these guidelines:
    • Temperature: 80 - 100°C
    • Duration: 4 - 8 hours
    • Cooling: Allow natural cooling to room temperature
