Siraya Tech Flex TPU 64D

Superior Mechanical Strength

Flex TPU 64D features a semi-rigid hardness that delivers greater structural rigidity and wear resistance than typical flexible TPU materials. With high tensile strength, excellent abrasion resistance, and strong layer bonding, it’s well suited for durable mechanical parts and demanding industrial applications. Optimized for reliable, smooth extrusion, it prints easily while minimizing stringing and clogging for consistent results.

Key Features of the Siraya Tech Flex TPU 64D Filament:

  • Semi-Rigid Hardness: Offers increased rigidity and shape retention compared to softer TPU materials
  • High Mechanical Strength: Excellent tensile strength and wear resistance for parts under continuous stress
  • Strong Layer Bonding: Produces durable prints with improved interlayer adhesion
  • Abrasion & Impact Resistant: Designed to withstand friction, impact, and repeated motion
  • Optimized Printability: Smooth, reliable extrusion with reduced stringing and clogging

High Durability & Rigidity

This filament delivers increased structural stability and wear resistance compared to standard TPU, while maintaining controlled flexibility for impact absorption. It’s ideal for parts that require toughness without excessive flex.

  • Enhanced Rigidity: Holds shape under load with reduced unwanted flex
  • Wear & Impact Resistant: Built to withstand abrasion, friction, and repeated stress
  • Balanced Flexibility: Absorbs impacts while maintaining structural integrity

Printing Tips

  • Storage: When not in use, store in a sealed, airtight bag or container with desiccant packs to minimize moisture absorption.
  • Drying: Dry thoroughly before every print for the best results. Use a filament at 50 - 60°C for 4 - 6 hours. Find filament dryers here.
    • Longer drying times may be necessary for filaments that have been exposed to humid air for extended periods
    • Consider using a drying print box during long prints
  • Printing: Print in a well-ventilated area for best practices
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Stringing/Oozing: Dry filament, optimize retraction settings (distance, speed, Z-hop), adjust print temperatures (lower temps without compromising layer adhesion), increase travel speeds, use wipe/coast settings
    • Clogging: Ensure filament is dry, check for heat creep (hotend fan is working), increase nozzle temperature slightly within recommended range, clean the nozzle, ensure extruder tension is appropriate
    • Poor Bed Adhesion: Clean build plate, adjust Z-offset, increase bed temp (within range), use brim/raft, apply bed adhesive, slow down first layer speed
    • Weak Layer Adhesion: Dry filament, increase nozzle temp, decrease cooling fan speed, ensure correct flow rate.
    • Extrusion Issues: Calibrate E-steps and flow rate, check for partial clogs in filament path, ensure filament spool can rotate
