Built Robust to Print Robust
The Pulse XE is built with robust components so it can print robust components. This high-performance, low-maintenance 3D printer has been designed and tested to deliver consistent, high-quality results without any fuss. Comprised of an E3D V6 HotEnd and an E3D Hardened Steel Nozzle, the Pulse XE’s hotend setup is more than capable of heating up and extruding abrasive filament like NylonX. No question about it; the Pulse XE is made to print NylonX.
Functional and Sturdy Parts
Use the Pulse XE to produce strong printed parts out of NylonX for everyday use. A buckle, a socket wrench, a carabiner—NylonX is suitable printing material for them all. Its nylon makeup mixed with micro-carbon fibers allows for the same durability as nylon and similar stiffness as carbon fiber, making it an ideal material to use for functional parts.
Perfect Precise Prints
The Pulse XE prints with the same amazing laser accuracy as the standard Pulse, but with even smoother results using NylonX. With the right fine-tuned settings, your prints will require no post processing leaving a super smooth, clean print that you can distinctly achieve with NylonX.
Designed to Print NylonX
All variations of the Pulse 3D printer are designed to be reliable, then further fine-tuned to specialize in specific printing needs. For the Pulse XE, it is designed to specialize in printing engineering grade filaments like NylonX. With a hotend capable of reaching temperatures of up to 290°C and a nozzle designed to handle harsh filaments, the Pulse XE, without a doubt, is made to handle pumping out micro-carbon fiber filled filament with this hotend setup. This bundle also comes with PrintDry PRO to ensure your filament is ready to successfully extrude without issue.
The bed surface on the Pulse XE is engineered for NylonX. With a garolite surface installed on the Pulse XE’s heated bed, rest easy knowing you’ll struggle less with warping and bed adhesion compared to other bed surfaces.
The Pulse XE 3D Printer Bundle is designed to provide you the necessary hotend setup, heated bed surface, and filament to get you started printing NylonX right out of the box.
A Tough Hotend for Tough Filament
The carbon fiber in NylonX is very hard and abrasive and it will quickly abrade and ruin brass or other soft metal nozzles. While most 3D printers can print with NylonX, they require anywhere between a nozzle change to completely switching out the hotend in order to handle multiple NylonX print jobs. The Pulse XE, however, is designed to print NylonX right out of the box for years to come.
With a hotend setup designed to meet NylonX’s 250-265°C print temperature requirement and equipped with an E3D Hardened Steel Nozzle that withstands tough, abrasive filament, the Pulse XE is built for you to print NylonX with zero hardware configuration. Rest easy knowing you can start printing NylonX parts with the right sturdy hotend system already installed by our Pulse Pros.

Made of engineering grade nylon filament blended with chopped carbon fibers, NylonX is the perfect blend of strength and durability. Maximizing its strength to weight ratio, this filament is sturdy, impact resistant, and high in tensile strength while still being light enough to not disrupt functional use. Its high thermal resistance also aids in lack of warping, adding onto NylonX’s trusted reputation for stiffness. Need to print a part that's both functional and robust? NylonX is the reliable solution for you.

Sleek Look With Engineering Grade Filament
While standard filaments like PLA can print very smoothly, NylonX prints come out even more precise, giving a much sleeker look that would make you think the print was produced by a factory machine instead of a desktop 3D printer. With the correct settings, the smooth and silky matte-black finish of a NylonX print requires zero post processing meaning no filament waste and no time wasted cleaning. The PrintDry PRO Filament Drying System comes stock with this bundle to remove any moisture in your material while printing, ensuring your parts print and look smooth.
Distinctive print layers can be indications of sturdy prints, but don’t let NylonX’s smooth finish fool you into thinking it equates to low sturdiness. The strength and durability you get in these NylonX prints come from its chemical makeup of micro-carbon fiber strands.
